Okay, so, my crazy fangirl friends are dragging me along for another adventure. This time, it's just to New York to see MCR and Gaslight (who are both great!) for Yule Rock(?). Some Christmas time show. But I'm really excited! Anyways, I'm offering prints (illustration and photo), commissions, and jewelry to pay my way. Full details are collected in a single place here.

In other news? I'm going to be starting the process of settling pieces for a sketchbook (B&W, about 16-20 pages, $5-8-ish) and an artbook (I don't even know). I'll have info on those when they're ready. Or at least assembled. The next few days will probably be doing some more sketches I won't upload for the sketchbook.

On the issue of gender-binary policies
I don't know if you've seen this in other journals or not but it is something I feel strongly about. It is, for the most part, the replies that make me the most angry. The refusal to acknowledge the existence of those who don't identify as male or female is appalling. I don't mean with changes to code, I mean in the replies and in replies I have seen elsewhere. It's the further marginalization and elimination of a group that is already pushed out and sometimes even rejected within a community that one would assume to be welcoming. That and the thinking behind it is wrong and needs to change. It's small, maybe, but it's a beginning.
